I think cheetah because it runs very fast that it can catch a cougar. 70 mph. (or 75) It also can roar so it can scare the cougar off. Cougars can't roar.

I'm 99% sure a cougar would win against a cheetah. Cheetahs are built for raw speed and thus sacrifice large amounts of muscle, big head, big shoulders...etc. Cougar is built much more solid than a cheetah. If you compare animals you can clearly see how much thicker the cougar is. Larger head, heavier muscled shoulders... etc etc.

i think the cheetah would win
the cheetah taking rest in the sun and a cougar shows up the cougar pounces but the cheetah quickly gets up and dogdes the cheetah starts to run the cougars start chasing but soon get tierd out then the cheetah stops and charges straight for the cougar the cougar being very tierd gets ready to smack the cheetah but the cheetah was moving fast and got around the cougars throat the cougar bats at it but is tierd so cant do much damage and the cheetah bite down on its throat and wins but that just what i think might happen

lol That's a very creative idea. But why would the cheetah come back? It knows it is outmatched. Big cats don't purposely brawl except for the lion.
Anyways, lol, the cougar is significantly more powerful than the cheetah due to size. The cheetah is a streamlined sprinter while the cougar is a stockier cat built for a speed/power.
I know this sounds kinda cheesy, but all you have to do is look at pictures of both animals (not even read the facts) and you know the cheetah is outmatched. The only thing the cheetah has on a cougar is speed.

well there had to be a fight lol and the cheetah could wear down the cougar so it couldnt fight to well but thats just what i think

Wow, most of u retarded...cougar 95%. Cheetahs are too weak, they cant fight. Cheetahs average what...100 lbs?? Well cougars average near 200 lbs, and some even go over that. Face it, cougars are bigger, more powerful, and heavier than the cheetah. Cheetahs cant even kill a hyena!!! Cheetahs are too thin, too light, and too weak for a cougar!!! Face it, a cheetah would forfeit
