Bold Champ, for the last time, you are wrong. Your scale chart is not accurate. And if you continue to post these idiotic references I will make sure that you can't post anymore. I took some liberties with your image. In EVERY photo that shows a male lion and a male tiger together, the tiger is always bulkier. Taking just a random tiger photo and scaling the shoulder height is not enough. You picked a tiger that is relatively small. You can tell that body mass of your tiger pic is FAR less then that of the lion. And that is simply not true. Even if, and that's a big "if", we went by your "lion and tiger weigh the same" theory, your image is wrong. The lion in your scale looks considerably bulkier than the tiger. Your own image proves your own theory wrong. Now, that scale could work for say African Lion vs Sumatran Tiger. But not Bengal. Even if we go by your unproven theories that lions average 220-230 kg (which is BS!), the image does not support that. You made the lion FAR bulkier and therefore the image is FALSE!

Was it now? Well, I'll give you the same question you gave me in the other thread...
HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT?

....actually, schamah, that particular scale, of the lion and siberian tiger was made by me. but, the other, with the copyright sign, of the lion and bengal, was not. but, that`s why i don`t like to post here. everything i post will be considered spam, or repetitive. but, it should be noted that studies indicate the lion has, on average, the larger chest girth (based upon actual measurements), and a deeper chest, with the greater lung capacity. so, yes, they would have, on appearance, a more massive looking frame. however, the body of the tiger, exclusive of the head and neck, is longer in the tiger. the head and neck of the lion is longer, and overall body length is equal.

Interesting comparison. Note that you can see the ribs of the lion in question. That's a sign that the lion in question was NOT healthy at the time of the photo. I'd also like to point out the little ruff of fur running along the tiger's belly. If you were to eliminate that, you'd see who the more robust cat is indeed!
