Actually, it isn't better. The lion in your pics is WAY too big. Goes against pretty much all LEGIT stats of the two cats.

No , they arent to big , those are average lions , look how heavy they are , and look how heavy the tigers are , those pictures are correct.

If you are comparing a male lion to a tigress, then they are correct. If it's male vs male, then they are WRONG!
PERIOD!

You cant proof that they are wrong.
I mean , the picture which you have shown above is a comparison between a Siberian Tiger and an African lion.
the picture which boldchamp has shown you , is a comparison between a male african lion and a male bengal tiger. And I dont undertsand why people say that the Bengal Tiger is bigger than the African Lion , I mean , Lions are longer and they are taller , tigers are only fatter.

Excuse me?! Let me tell you something, fanboy. I don't tolerate ignorance here. Bengal tigers are just as large, and in certain regions LARGER, then Siberian Tigers. Bold Champ is an idiot who has proven his ignorance many times over. I take NOTHING he says as anything more than fanboy raving. The tiger is the largest cat in the world. PERIOD. If you want to play the fanboy card and argue this FACT, then you best find a new place to hang out.

Lol these pics proof nothing.
1st Pic : the Lion was in another position than the tiger.
2nd Pic :That Lions doesnt look healthy , and it also doesnt look adult. And it looks more like an Indian Lion.
3rd Pic: That pic is stupid , it doesnt even show a comparison.
In the most cases , the Male African Lions are bigger than the Male bengal Tigers. Period.

....lionboss, i compared both animals to the same length, though only in the second pic. the first is not mine. lions are, on average, about 15% taller than tigers, so there is not much difference between those specimens, in terms of weight. the tiger has a slightly longer body than the lion, exclusive of the head and neck, which is proven to be a bit longer in the lion, overall lenght being equal.

Unlike your sorry ass, of course? Funny how I get a biased accusation from a lion fan. Big shock!

lionboss, i compared both animals in my pic to the same length. if, by chance, the lion should appear larger, yes, one can get that impression. a taller animal of similar build often appears larger then a smaller, but equally massive specimen. and, i do not believe tigers are larger. why?....because the majority of records do not support this claim (i have many, which i haven't even shown). likewise, little studies exist of the largest of reported lions, from the crater.
